What Type of Vampire would you Be

I think I oops’d one day and deleted my post What Type of Vampire would you Be. So, with that stated let me start it a new and go into what I’d go with first and let people add their thoughts and comments.

First off there are hundreds if not even more of vampires and vampire types out there in the lore about the “blood suckers”. There are books, movies, games and so many other sources that people can draw inspiration from when talking on this subject. I will not even attempt to claim I’m an expert but instead just a casual “reader.”

So I shall get to the meat of the subject and explain what I’d be if given the chance, no opportunity, or course of being a VAMPIRE.

I like the idea of being a solitary individual with few close friends. I would somewhat disregard my own kind as killers and would even think about breaking the “One Rule” and kill my own kind.

The reason for this is that the world is full of human suffering and I’d remember that from my previous life. I’d have been a peasant in a small land when turned and would not forget that through the centuries. I would of course been able to gain considerable wealth and would use it to help others. One such endeavor would be opening blood banks in countries around the world through Non-Profit groups. Hence, no matter where I was I’d have a food source and would not need to feed on the living.

I also would not fear the sun as one of the “Bram Stokers” creations would, but instead I could day walk but due to my increased senses would prefer the quiet of the night. I’d also use the night to hunt those of my kind that where the worst of us. I’d go after those who killed without mercy and not for hunger but for sport.

So, that’s my “dream” vampire and I’m hoping others pipe in and add to the discussion. I do apologize for those who came looking for this and found it gone. I will give myself 20 lashes with a wet noodle for my bad “OOPS!” I cannot believe I went to add something to the original post and hit delete on accident. (Sigh)

I to would like to be the kind of vampire that only have a few people close to me and would be able to lots of money and live in really nice places all through out time. The sun would not hurt me but I would prefer to be out at night. Would only need small amouts of blood to live. I would be very kind and try to help as many people as I could.I would travel the whole world . I don't know if I would want to" turn " anyone or not. I would have to wait to be in that situation.

I am a vampire who loves the night but can survive in the sun, but with pain.

I love to walk along under the stars and dream of the the stars' freedom to wheel about the sky...but then I remember that they travel in set patterns and don't have full freedom. Like me, drawn into the same patterns. Drawn to drink of others.

There is so much time. Time to spend in a great way to nurture and love and work and build, given so much time...but then time becomes the enemy and turns all to dust and steals away my effort. How I scream with the loss, and rampage through the unsuspecting and innocent.

Then comes the sorrow. The never ending sorrow. The poor innocent creatures who die in their sins. Their miserable lives. They fail to reach for salvation...and then I end their lives. I am compelled.

It's somewhat interesting reading everyone's thoughts so far. The big thing that sticks out is the fact so far just about everyone mentions the ability to survive in the sun. Makes me wonder if a bit of the Vampire Myth and Lore is breaking and that is becoming allowable for a vampire to be a daywalker even if it means some pain.
