What's Your Biggest Online Timewaster?

For me it has to be Facebook.
I can spend hours answering emails and putting up posts to people who have messaged me... that I don't mind. But it's those damned quizzes, sea-gardens, pirates games, gothic gifts, etc...
Everytime I tell myself I won't take another quiz... here I go again, answering what kind of weather I like, who I would kill, and what type of drink I would splash in someone's face all for the sake of getting an answer that usually doesn't fit me or have anything to do with the quiz questions!!! Gah!
Oh... and though I don't mind people sending me drinks, I wonder... why does everyone send me drinks? That has got to be the number one gift I get. Yet, I don't drink. Is it something about the way I look that encourages it? Are people with pink and purple hair known to be drunks? Hhehehe. It cracks me up. If I drank all those drinks people are giving me... I'd be dead! x.x

As for me well Emzbox is one I check often as you may guess by the posts I have dropped. I do Facebook but I'm not as bad as others as you can tell as my friend count is thankfully only in low 30's. I do spend a lot of time surfing websites and reading the news. My faves there are Firsthowing.net, Moviehole.net, Foxnews.com (Don't hate meI'm a bit conservative), local newspapers and some comic book movie sites. I also check Podiobooks often to update my books and look for more to enjoy at work.

I spend some time on Itunes checking for more podcasts as well.

My biggest waste of time has to be playing the MMO City of Heroes. I've been playing that game actively for over 36 months now. (Just got a badge and new power for hitting that milestone.) I run what they call a Supergroup on their Virtue server so I try to be their as often as I can to help people out. Also a recent update to the game allows people to make and publish their own missions for others to do. So now I'm building one of those and testing things out.

I belong also to a few other forums and checking all the posts and tring to reply to them takes a lot of time. But I have made many lifelong friends who I have never met in person but often talk on the phone. I have enjoyed that.; ▶ Reply to This
