Night's Knights update 6/7/09

Well, the cover artist has not worked out how I liked.
I don't think I'll ever go trolling Deviant Art again for a cover artist. Nice pics to look at, but trying to get them to allow rights is another issue. I had so many say they would let me and then fess up that they hadn't done it alone, or the cover model won't allow it, or it wasn't even their art! What's up with that?
Anyway... I am either going to be sticking with the current cover theme (the NK podnovel book / quill thing) or pulling something out in the last hour.
The editing is going well. I hope to be done with that soon so I can get the proof end of July and make last changes so it will be ready for my signing in October. The release party/book signing will be held at a friend of mine's tattoo studio. The place is perfect. It is clean and beautiful with huge murals on the wall of pirates and fish etc... and they have an art studio in the back. It is out in Antioch, but I hope will be worth the trip for those of you in the city and maybe closer for some out Concord way.

Now- as for NK2, Dusk Warriors, I can't help myself from writing more even though I should be concentrating on the NK edit! I'm ready to get on with the next tale!

Sorry to hear about your art travails. :-( The biters will buy it regardless, but the more ordinary punters would certainly be more attracted by eye candy on the cover.

Signing party.... Hm. Any chance that signed copies can be had by those of us who are far away?

Yes! I plan to have signed copies available through my site/pay pal. I will even give a personal signing/book club appearance if anyone wishes and I am in their area/state. Not sure where my travels might take me at the end of the year.
