oh Poppy Z Brite writes with a terribly tawdry perfection and seems to delight to leave little strings of darkness with cruelly narrowed eyes and wicked grins in my tummy for just days and days =)

i like to write descriptively of things that are not defined, so that the points of contact between your dreams and mine are as wide and receptive as possible...

I've always been a bit more a Poppy Z Brite girl, but it does seem odd that this role is so consistently miscast (imho of course)

oh how exciting, yes; I shall try to keep Oct 7th open and adore SL meetings; I'm typically on very late, though - between 9pm and 4am SLT - perhaps I'll feed the manthing and the children some nice morphine for dinner that night...
Silently, against the sky
my empty shell alone did fly.
Electrical, flowered and fleet,
I left the world beneath my feet,
but, older things were lurking there,
and as I scampered on the Air,
a whim of one such drew me down
