Oh my goodness, Rhonda had a full house today in SL Podcrafters. I stood by to catch the overflow! We talked about all sorts of things and even answered some podcasting questions. For my launch, I am going to start reading The Fox on Weds at 2pm SLT…

I have high speed now, but still need to try out SL. I just need a few extra hours each day. Very cool about Podioracket starting up again!

See what I started? My long-time favorite is One Caress, by Depeche Mode. I can't explain it, but it's the rare song I haven't gotten tired of over the years.

Well us Detroiters even if I'm an ex-Detroiter gotta stick together. I don't get to Detroit as often anymore but I have family spreadout the city and the burbs. I also have family just across the border in Windsor. I dads family at one time ran Seaway Collision in Detroit which was in the downtown area across from one of the old Motor Plants. I've been paying more attention to Detroit as of late, well actually The RedWings but that's still Detroit related. :^)

I finally got to, "The Other Love" after listening to Claws, Addicted to Love and Taste of the dead. I laughed out loud at my workplace when I got to the end of the story and had to explain to my co-workers what was so funny. This hit home for me as my family ran/owned a repair shop for many years. I'll have to take a look at Dark Matters soon and add that to my Podcast to listen to list.

CD Review: Blue October

CD Review: Blue October’s “Approaching Normal”
April 17th, 2009
It was first a harp student and her parents who introduced me to the band “Blue October” a few years ago. While most people are attracted to the band’s hard edge rock and the sexy voice of lead singer, Justin Furstenfeld, I of course, being me was attracted to the intricate inner workings of the band’s violinist. When the writer, Stephanie Meyers brought Blue October to the Young Adult writer’s market with her playlist for each chap… Continue

Michele

Big Weekend at MicheleRoger.com

Dark Matter reaches it cosmologically thrilling climax this week. Michael, heaven's general complete with Gladius and chariot comes face to face with the apocolyptica White Rider dressed in armor made from the dead. Around them ensues a continued battle between the forces of heaven and the demons from hell. Steven plays double agent in a cat and mouse game with Miranda where De'Vok is the winning prize. Louella looks to tear Natasha apart in a carnal, winged fight of revenge.

What Does Armegeddon Sound Like?

What Does Armegeddon Sound Like?

On the heels of the the last few remaining chapters of Dark Matter, Armegeddon is in full swing. Typically a situation/small scene writer, orchestrating two armies, an air assault, love, loss and rivers of blood was a huge challenge for me. For hours, I tried countless methods to paint the pictures in my head. While the pictures came, the order was out of sync. I tried reading the biblical text, which helped but certainly didn't encompass my modern view. I took… Continue

Reviews and Feedback

Out There

The first time I went out on stage as a harpist, I hoped that they couldn’t tell. I had only had the instrument twelve weeks and my band mate at the time had decided that was plenty of time to learn an hour of music and perform it live; for a packed crowd at the opening of an art gallery where a close friend was making her debut. Oh yeah, and did I mention that the local public radio station was also broadcasting the show because some of their disc jokeys were performing after us?
